Itimad-ud-daulah Tomb

This Mughal mausoleum is popularly known as ‘Baby Taj Mahal’. Nur Jahan, wife of Jahangir commissioned this tomb. It is no less than a masterpiece of architecture created from white marble. Pietra dura is an iconic technique which was used in its structure where floral designs are carved on stones. The Taj Mahal

Akbar’s Tomb

Covering 119 acres of area, The Akbar’s Tomb is situated in Sikandra. Built during the reign of Mughal Empire, this monument is the resting place of Emperor Akbar. The ruler himself looked after the construction of this tomb when he was alive. Fantastic view of this structure made up from red sandstone and marble is a delight to explore. Delicate designs on the walls and ceilings and amazing calligraphy are attractive and pleasing to eyes.
